LOIC Celebrates World Youth Skills Day

August 1, 2023

MONROVIA –

July 15th marked the World Youth Skills Day, an annual event celebrated by the United Nations to encourage young people to engage in skills training. This year, LOIC celebrated the day by hosting an entrepreneurship competition for students in three of our departments: auto mechanic, carpentry, and electricity.

The Entrepreneurship Competition was a great success. It was a fun and engaging way for students to learn about entrepreneurship and develop their skills. LOIC is proud to support the next generation of entrepreneurs.

We were very proud of all of our students who participated in the competition. They all demonstrated a high level of skill and creativity, and we are confident that they will be successful in their future careers.

We hope that World Youth Skills Day will inspire more young people to pursue skills training. With the right skills, young people can have a brighter future and make a positive contribution to their communities.

LOIC is committed to providing our students with the skills they need to succeed in the workforce. World Youth Skills Day is a reminder of the importance of this work, and we are proud to be a part of it.

Thank you to all of our students, sponsors, and partners for making World Youth Skills Day a success.
